Tips for Plain bathroom tile design

Among the hardest decision you need to take in the process of redecorating your bathroom is ceramic planches design. The items you need to think of are colour, model of rangettes and the size of the area necessary to apply planches on. What makes it even more difficult is a great choice in all the mentioned points. The situation described in this introduction is what i faced not so long ago when i was redecorating my small bathroom, so now i can share my experince with you.

Ceramic plaches can be found in different prices and one of the solutions if the cost of them will be too high is to limit the area you cover with them. I was looking for the best rangettes for a long time, so i happened to find a line of ceramic planches with a decent price. The good thing about them is that they reminded more expensive ones i saw before. It is worth to waste some time on the search if you find nice tiles for a good price. Considering a good price of the tiles, i had a possibility to cover with them almost all the not big bathroom - from floor to ceiling which was a focus for me. There was a place behind my bath hidden from anybody else's eyes, so i decided not to apply tiles there, thus saving some money for me. By that moment i saw many bathroom fully covered by planches and concluded that they had better look that those partially tiled.

I am an owner of a small bathroom. But in fact small bathroom can be caused not just by limit of room, but also by wrong usage of design. The great tip here is to give the bathroom an impression that it is full of air. It is reached by means of light or mirrors on the walls. My trick was applying of planches of light colour, which reflecting lighting makes the room look bigger.

Usage of mosaic rangettes in bathrooms

The first idea that rushed to my mind is to cover all the wall with bright white sleek thin slabs. This would give a lot of light to my bathroom but still it could be too much. I thought how to save the same atmosphere but still not to stick to white tiles only. I happend to find a mosaic planch design by chance

in some pastel colours. As for the size they were standard, so it was not a problem to fix it, but the image each of the tiles created was a rectangular, so all together they made a mosaic look. What i took was two colours - blue, a shade of light sky and of course white, in the proportion one to two. I used blue at the bottom of the wall to remind of the sea. It seemed to me working and easz to make design.

Bathroom shower rangette design idea

Speaking about tiles in a shower to make the whole room look united it"s better to apply tiles of the same colouristic idea and theme too, but it doesn"t mean that the form of the image created by tiles must be the same. With the help of blue slabs i created the form of a triangle with the top in the corner of my shower. This invites and draws you into the shower.
